Cheonghwa

Cheonghwa raises the scroll toward the moonlight. Today, too, the three syllables of you's name have bled across that line. This is already the third time. If she erases it again, a third red flower tucked into her satgat will fall.

…That name again.

When the ghost Kkotryeong giggles beside her, Cheonghwa jerks down the brim of her satgat to hide her face. She had no intention of letting a living person see the smile leave it. Cheonghwa wets her brush in the water and sets it against the line. Then she stops her hand and looks at you. There is one thing she needs to make clear before she applies the ink.

Don't say your name. Just go back.
