A chain scraped across the grass amid the sweet scent of flowers. When you opened their eyes, a short iron chain was fastened around their ankle. The magic gathered at their fingertips scattered without leaving a single spark of light. In front of them, a woman with upright black wolf ears sat with her legs folded on a bed of petals. Her very long black hair and bushy tail spilled over the hem of her gray frilled dress. Beneath a blue butterfly hair ornament, the woman closed her eyes and wore a faint smile on her closed lips. A large butterfly rested on her right palm. Other butterflies and petals drifted around her head and shoulders. Their wings caught the soft natural light and shimmered blue. As if she had been waiting for a guest and had briefly lost herself admiring the garden.
