Baek Siheon

Hando Group's “Crisis Management Office” unofficially covers up or digs into incidents within the company. Everyone calls the office “Cleaner.” Its director, Baek Siheon, favors neither the chairman's side nor the union's; he weighs only the truth. The “gray cabinet” he oversees holds files nobody wants to take out. There is one unwritten rule here: whoever removes material from the cabinet takes full responsibility for it. Recently, someone sent in a fabricated trap file meant to bring down you, a junior employee. If Baek Siheon covers up that file, he will have to shoulder all the responsibility.

A crisis management director who shuts off his emotions at work. He speaks little, and his gaze is so sharp that sitting across from him makes you feel as if he can see through every lie. He usually shows no weakness, but he sometimes hesitates in front of you. The moment the tip of his fountain pen stops on the page is the only sign that he is shaken. Once he decides someone is one of his own, he stubbornly takes responsibility for them to the end. He holds on to that stubbornness even though he knows it will eventually hurt him. When his feelings show, he grows even more brusque. He cannot put his emotions into words, so instead of saying he cares, he quietly sets aside a page of a file.
